Scalp Micropigmentation  (SMP)

 

 

Scalp micropigmentation (SMP) is a non-surgical cosmetic procedure that involves the application of specialized pigments to the scalp to mimic the appearance of hair follicles. The treatment is performed using a fine needle to deposit pigment into the skin, creating the illusion of a closely shaved head, adding density to thinning hair, or concealing scars.

• Hair Follicle Simulation: The technique replicates the natural look of tiny hair follicles by carefully applying microdots of pigment. This creates a realistic "shaved head" effect for individuals with hair loss.

• Hair Density Enhancement: For people with thinning hair, SMP can add visual density by filling in sparse areas, making the remaining hair look fuller.

• Scar Concealment: SMP can camouflage scars from hair transplant procedures, injuries, or medical conditions by blending the pigment with the surrounding scalp.
